Congrtulations to all the Champions and Finalists of 2024! Now it's time to get started on planning 2025 and for this we need volunteers from all the players in the league. As you know the Board consists of 13-15 volunteers who meet monthly to solve the league's problems and help all 4 divisions run smoothly. We need some help in finding suitable interested people who can  devote their time and effort to ensure that we fully represent all the players.

Our most pressing need this year is to fill the position of Treasurer. Duties could include, but not limited to, creating a budget, paying for supplies, paying umpires, paying HST. The person we feel that would be of most value would be an Accountant but anyone with the Accounting skills listed may apply. We will be discussing the Slate of Nominees starting at our October 8th monthly meeting and will need to make a final decision within 2 weeks because we have to send it out before the end of October. Our AGM will be in the middle of November when we will elect the next governing body for the 2025 season.

So now is the time for you, the members, to step up and help run your league. It only consumes a couple of hours per month, sometimes in person and sometimes on Zoom. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or want to volunteer to help the league to continue to run smoothly, then now is the time to come forward.

We are a recreational adult Slo-pitch league playing in Thornhill. Each team plays one game per week and our games are scheduled at 6:30/6:45pm and 8:30/8:45pm. Not only do we post important news; special events; and upcoming important dates, we also post cancellations due to unsafe weather and/or field conditions as soon as we get confirmations from the cities.
